Announcing My Year With Edith Wharton
Spend 2025 Reading Seven of Wharton's Best Known Novels
Hello book friends!
I’m finally ready to announce the reading schedule for My Year With Edith Wharton. I spent the past year reading all of Jane Austen’s completed novels and found it to be a very rewarding experience. I’ve enjoyed diving into an author’s canon and layering in reading about their lives and their world. I can’t wait to have the same immersive experience with Edith Wharton.
Here is my announcement video for this year-long reading project:
If you’re not one for videos, I made this cute graphic with the reading schedule. Feel free to share this with friends who might want to join in.
I will share my journey through Edith Wharton's world here on Substack, so stay tuned!
P.S. Please let me know if you know any Whartonites who would like to chat with me about the books or Edith’s life. I think it would be fun to share some interviews throughout the year in addition to my own ramblings about the books.
Hi! Wharton scholar here 🥰 we read Mirth & Innocence in my book club last year — would love to chat Edith any time!! ✨
Fantastic video and I love the plan you have put together. I read all of Steinbeck's works last year and it was a rewarding experience. I haven't read any of Wharton's books although they are on my TBR. Look forward to hearing how your year goes.
